3-2-1- S Evaluation System - Developed by Reed Rogers, DTM
Don's use the words, BUT, HOWEVER, especially after building them up.
Avoid whitewash…..ie: eyes were good hands, ets
Always strive to have 10 ways to say the same thing
Work on having the evaluation unique
Don't confuse speaker stroll with pacing
Use metaphors/parables
Help your speaker come to a conclusion themselves
Not every evaluator is Right!
Was evaluation inspirational and motivational? Even feel good when giving suggestons
Take ownership of your evaluation
Always telling people what TO DO….Avoid telling them what NOT TO DO!
Instead of saying "you pace"….make the suggestion to pick a spot and talk to that part of the audience. WALK from spot to spot and this avoids pacing!
"If I may suggest"…..begin the suggestion (2) part of the evaluation with these words.
"The other thing I really liked the most…..[pause]….then continue
Key Words: EVEN BETTER
