I received bad news Sunday morning just before Sunday School started. Amber Pace, my current longest serving employee has been my chairside dental assistant for almost 3 years. She told me she was on a balcony Saturday....sitting on the railing....and fell off! She broke both heels. I said, "Well, I guess you won't be at work on Monday". That is when I got the bad news! She is on total bed rest for at least 2 months...possibly much longer....and will not be coming back right away to work. She has since seen a orthopedic MD and they are going to have to do surgery on one of the heels. She may be off work 5-6 months or even more recovering.
I am now looking for a chairside dental assistant to take Amber's place. If you know of an assistant in the local area, tell them to contact me.
For now, we continue to pray for Amber's recovery! She has been and eventually will be again a valued employee that watches out for my best interests!
