Tyler 1year 3 days.....

I missed the exact day of posting on his first birthday, but today.....Tyler Lee Clayton, our oldest (and only) grandson is 1 year old and already three days into his second year.  We all were in San Antonio last week to officially celebrate his birthday (one weekend early) but that fit better with everyone's schedule around Christmas.  I will post some pictures from the party later.

The Houston Clayton's are coming!

Yes, the Houston Clayton's are coming this weekend.  Two weeks ago we had the San Antonio Clayton's along with grandson Tyler.  Tracy and Megan should be in late Friday evening.  Tracy has spent the last two days on the A&M campus as a member of the recruiting team for Exxon Mobil looing for new Aggie graduates!  I'm sure we will hear more about his trip this weekend.  However, he did call Monday night and say that the road on the North side of the Chemistry building was still just in as bad shape as when I was at TAMU!  At least something stays the same!  We are looking forward to Tracy and Megan's visit and I hope that he brings some old clothes!  I have a "few" outside jobs to complete while he is here.

The Clayton's are coming!!!!!!

WHOOOO HOOOOO!  The Clayton's are coming up from San Antonio this Saturday for the Labor Day weekend.  Specifically, that is the Trevor Clayton's and especially GRANDSON Tyler Lee!  This will be his second trip to Denison in his short 8 1/2 month existance!  You can expect more blogs over the weekend WITH photos!  We are excited and can't wait to see all of the family come up.  For those of you that don't know, Trevor is the oldest son and is a Radiology resident at Brooke Army Medical Center at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio.  He will be at Brooke through June 30, 2011.  His wife, Michelle, works for World Savings.  Trevor and Michelle are both '02 graduates of TAMU!

Speaking of Texas A&M, I have a good friend, Dr. Guy Willis, another Denison dentist, that has a daughter, fish Willis.  She has just finished FOW and is a member of the Fightin Texas Aggie Band!  This Saturday will be her first opportunity to march on Kyle Field in front of 70,000 screaming fans!  Guy has promised pictures from this weekend!  I will be posting those here as soon as I get them in.  Anyone that knows me........knows that I love seeing young men and women become Cadets and especially Aggie Band members!
