The Sherman Daybreak Toastmaster Club had a great meeting Thursday November, 8, 2007. Seventeen members and three guest were called to order by Acting Sergeant at Arms Jeff Walton. Club President Lee Clayton was the Toastmaster for today's meeting.
We had three outstanding speeches: "Who are our leaders of the future?" was the subject of a speech by Richard Sneed. Patty Barker spoke on "Sandpaper people" and David Hames speech was titled "Transformers". His subject was on antibiotics and how they can change.
Kevin Higgins acted as the General Evaluator and introduced the evaluator for each speaker. Michael Hicks was the Evaluator for Richard Sneed, Tim Dungan the Evaluator for Patty Baker and Jeff Walton the Evaluator for David Hames.
Richard Sneed and Patty Baker tied for the best speaker ribbon. Jeff Walton was voted best Evaluator.
